Venturefest Manchester 2015, led by the Business Growth Hub with support from Innovate UK and the Knowledge Transfer Network has partnered with the government-backed Business Growth Service to help attract finance and investment for growing businesses.
Businesses have the opportunity to have one to one "speed pitching" sessions with a range of funding providers at the Meet the Funder event, taking place at Venturefest Manchester 2015 on the 22 September 2015.
Businesses from the North West are now encouraged to apply to be considered to take part in the FREE Meet the Funder session and have the chance to present their business to appropriate funders who will be pre-matched to the business opportunity. Funders include a range of venture capitalists, angel investors, crowd funders, asset finance, start-up loans, banks, asset finance and grant providers, all of whom are focused on investing in strong growth potential businesses.
Business Growth Hub and the Business Growth Service will bring up to 25 key funding providers to the event. Confirmed so far include, Market Invoice, Seneca Partners, Just Loans, North West Business Angels, Urica and many more.
Applications are invited from growth ambitious limited companies, partnerships, charities and social enterprises and applications will close on 31 August 2015. Successful applicants will be matched with the most appropriate funders to meet on the day and will also be invited to attend a FREE pitch training session before the event with specialist finance advisors from the Business Growth Service and the Business Growth Hub Access to Finance team.
Venturefest Manchester is part of a national network of innovation conferences supported by the UK’s innovation agency, Innovate UK, and the Knowledge Transfer Network. The event takes place on 22 September 2015 at The Point, Manchester.
