Last year’s Venturefest Manchester was a showcase of the cutting-edge innovation and entrepreneurship coming out of Greater Manchester. Over 700 entrepreneurs and businesses came together with innovators and academics to fuse fresh ideas with novel research and opportunities for funding.

Trailblazing entrepreneurs shared their stories, while guest speakers and other market leaders presented their unique insights.

09 Meet The Funder

The ever popular Meet the Funder session returns to this year’s Venturefest Manchester.

Hosted by the Business Growth Hub and Grant Thornton, Meet the Funder provides businesses seeking finance with the opportunity to have one-to-one ‘speed meetings’ with various funders matched to their business profile and funding requirements.

The ten-minute sessions will take place in a private room and selected businesses will have meetings with a range of funders on the day, including angel investors, equity specialists, loan funds and grant providers.

To apply, fill out the form. Applications close on Friday 1 September, subject to availability. Applications will be screened and assessed by both Grant Thornton and Hub advisors on a first come, first served basis.
